We haven't heard back from you and want to make sure you're aware + have taken the necessary action if needed!


As we communicated about Early March 2021, following new regulations and standards for application-to-person (A2P) messaging, all local phone numbers must be upgraded to a TOLL-FREE number (due to extra regulation and filtering plus price hikes) and if you would like to keep your local number you have to go through a registry approval process with your business information.

Here's what we need from you by 4/29/2021 5pm EST
Choose option 1 or option 2:


Option 1

1) If you are happy with a new, toll free number, please login by 4/29/2021 at 5pm EST and change to a TOLL-FREE number (due to the many benefits of toll free, typically this is a higher cost- we are offering to you at no additional cost🙌). Note: If you do not make the change manually (and don't fill out this information for local number business registry to keep your current number), it will automatically be made for you in order to keep with US messaging compliance rules- you can find or replace the system generated number using the same instructions below.

It's easy to make the change yourself! Simply login into your account and execute the following:

Login to Telefio account > Account settings > Pick a custom phone number and select any toll-free number

Friendly Reminder: Update anywhere you typically promote or share the number, and make sure anyone you may receive inbound messages from are aware of your fancy new toll free number 😀

Option 2

2) If you wish to keep your local phone number- this is URGENT + NEEDS YOUR RESPONSE no later than 4/29/21 5pm EST.

As the world changes, so does the cell phone and messaging industry. Due to these changes to all cell/messaging companies, we need you to register your business information on a registry that is housed by the FCC so you can continue to enjoy sending messages using the number you prefer.
